New Guinea 14th August '81 Dear Sir, Mr. Goldie duly received your letter but as this is the first opportunity that offers for replying we think it better to forward it to your Establishment at Rochester. We could supply you with the specimens named at foot of this note at the prices mentioned but it would necessarily have to be done through an agent in Sydney who could do business with our agents Messrs Mason Bros, 14 Spring St. Sydney, as you say for cash. Any future letters you had better address to them and so save time as they always know our whereabouts. The stone axes you bought from Mr [Flaton?] were the refuse of my collection, those quoted are from differen localities and highly ornamental. Yours truly pro A Goldie, Self and E. Rolls [?]
