   Pardon my delay in answering your letter of

Sept. 22. You are very kind in making a reduct ion on the price of the cassowary. I will agree to furnish the price named ($34.00) within the present school year, leaving it with you to send the specimen at your convenience.

   I believe Miss Ward has

written to your sister concern ing the plan for her protege.
