       Much Respetd Sir,

by suggestion from Prof A Hyatt of the Natural History Rooms Boston. I would inform you that I have in my possession a fine specimen of the spharge's- corrasea, or leather Turtle - Tis a Female about 7 feet from Head to tail. Previous to its being preserved its weight was 1008 lbs. measuring 22 inches from top to under shell, very fat & plump, & looks finely, it has cost me over one hundred & forty dollars & I will see it boxed & shipped for $100.00 - please let me hear from you, & greatly oblige Yours ?& E.
