Dear Professor I send you by express today a roughly cleaned skeleton of one of our new species of fish (Lopholatilus chamaeleonticeps). It is a form that has just made its appearance off Nomans Land individuals of which weighing 90 pounds have been captured. It comes between the Labroids and Sciaenoids. If perfect enough, please mount it. Otherwise make as good a preparation as you can conveniently.
In the event [?] schools of Blackfish being taken here, would you like to have a rough skeleton of same?
