of trying any further & if not then we should feel at liberty to put forth a considerable effort to get it for it is a sum large enough to make it pay so you had be see to this first & then we can tell better what to do There has been sufficient search made here so that the heirs can be identi- died without fears on that score & also letters & writings to show who they aren't that the money was left there & c. & c. so that if it has not gone to the government we may be quite sure of it, but that is our only fears

   I wish  you would find out in

relation to the matter as soon as you can & you as I said before shall be therribly & favorably rewarded I hope to hear from you ^as^ often as you can find it convenient to write & how you like your travels.
