       Dear Sir
                I have your favor 13th Inst

and am very sorry you have so much trouble delivering these heads and we in getting them, but have no doubt the second one will turn up all right as the first did. Adams Express Co here cannot find a record of it & cannot produce our receipt after seeing your letter, but say they will have to trace up from Rochester. This is the second time they have started a trace but they did not report the last one. I hope however it will arrive in time for the Nederland on the 22d Inst.
