number of letters acknowledged that the Society owed you $119.85 for specimens bought with 18.- for a Menorsoma added making 127.85 The letter you now send me includes 37.33 "for skulls" left by you at your request to see if the Society would not buy them. These the Society could not buy & returned them. They </u never> owed you for them They supposed that you would and as it is proved you did take the charge off the books on return of specimens.
