Men hair in two stories.
Children wear ? around neck,
Alibicore. Various swords, various
shields, various head-dresses, betoken
different tribes. Tallow & tobacco
on hair look like [ladies?] are not.
Main gate--[?] Procession
of Sheikh. A meeting with Hyena
rode to each grove. Piles of Madrepore
sale for specimens. Less religious than
Arabia for [?] and liquor and
women show faces. Saw but two
in Jeddah. These led me to think
