keeping of the property: that he did no know just what was left. & would like a complete inventory as soon as I could make it convenient. I had many things on my hands as you know at that time, & though fully intending to send the list, in the next letter I should write, & knowing from his letter that there was no present necessity for it. It was delayed longer than I intended. & if any bargain was inferred by his not having it, then he might complain. However the Judge would not say this, as Just as soon as he needed it, it was sent.
