I received the Karstenite and lately the maps of London, which you sent me. If you come again to New York I hope ^we^ will not have an other such missing as the last time. I heard that you wished to see Mr. Roenling's Mineral Collections, what you

can easy accomplish in calling on

me on the Bridge Office in Brooklyn right by Fulton Ferry. Though he resides now in Trenton, his house & Cabinet is open to me and I can show you the same. His collection is not so large, but very complete containing most of the rare minerals. If you should call at my house in the evening and I should accidentally be not at home, don't let you ? off by the girl, but inquire after the lady, who generally knows, whether I soon come
