new Paleontology or ask Prof Emons. I have scribbled
a label l with name & locality& wrapped up wirh
most of your specimens. but have omitted the name
of some of the ? as Prof. Dewey tells me Hall is going
to make quite a change in them in his new work.
Let Prof. E see your specimens & ask him for me if
there are any kinds there he would like & which & what & I will
send him some on hearing. If you have any you do
not wish remember ^Prof. E^ Washburn (if he is getting a collection)
Howell or Byisyton. I should have sent the two latter
some too as I once agreed but I preferred to wait till
they had seen these & then if they think them worth
while let them write me at Geneseo & I will send
them a box of such of them as they like if I have
of that kind. Otherwise I shall run a random as in
there not knowing exactly what will please, if
any. Write me frankly about them if they suited.
