Dear Professor H. Ward
You will excuse my
not answering sooner. When your letter came to Auckland, I was out collecting for several month, by my return so much work wait it for me.
But I have not forgotten
you, I have a good number of new Eel fishes in Spirit of wine. If you like I will send you a collection of NZ fishes Salt and fresh water for 3/ [say?]
