nwh [page 1] Tucson, Ariz Ter. Novbr 10 1879. Prof Henry A. Ward, Rochester, N. Y. My dear Sir: -

I have been thinking of writing to

you for a long time but pressure of business and other things have con= spired to prevent. I have been here some months and studied this country very closely, have invested a good deal of money for St Louis and other friends and am in a position now to invest with better effect than ever before. I only wish that you could come here for I verily believe that this is the finest field on the continent for making money. This place will inside of three years handle more Bullion than any place in the whole country aside from Virginia City and Leadville and will not be far behind either of those cities.

Can you not make up a pool of ten to twenty thousand dollars

and come down here to operate? There is big money in it. You can come to Cassa Grande by Rail and thence here by Stage 66 miles. Let me hear from you and come if possible. Yours truly, Tho. L. Morgan
