I have already had a trace started for the head, for which you forwarded Express receipt, & hope to hear from it soon. The firm's first letter to you was written by a clerk in the steam ship Dept during my absence in N. Y. & of course he could find no one who knew any ^thing^ of the article, Mr Van Bree having spoken to no one else. The head in Agricultural I have also started a trace for, first endeavoring to ascertain who received it from you. On this I will report as soon as I have any information Yours truly Thomas Hudson</p>
