Werther Herr Professor

Habe auch einige Horned Toads on hand. The [illegible] makes me great trouble, I tried one with [illegible] acid, and will see how he turns out. The hide under the jaws by the [illegible] is more or less damaged, but I think can be substituted by any other [illegible] hide, any white [illegible]. I am convinced now of the [illegible] to become 8 feet long, that once, the [illegible] and was dead instantly but he sunk and as a good a swimmer and diver I consider myself, I could not find him.

So viel [illegible] von Ihnen ergebener Albert Tuerpe.
