both before me, The first is
very satisfactory the latter
as my friend Carpenter would
say is "beastly". As soon as I
found you were anxious about
your Gorgonial I named all
I could and to my surprise
found I could give a title to
nearly all of the Florida forms.
The Cape of Good Hope specimens
were beyond me and not one
could I get an idea of. If I
had a chance to go to Salem perhaps
this could be done, but this would be remote.
